CUC is one of the earliest design institutes to carry out the design of combined heating projects in China. CUC has completed more than 100 heating projects, and its performance ranks among the top in China, mainly including regional heating power stations and self-provided thermal power stations. In recent years, the heat storage system of thermal power plant and the distribution system of regional compressed air station have also been developed to provide value-added services for traditional thermal power plants. The power center of the chemical project is an upgraded version of the traditional thermal power plant, providing a large amount of heating and power for the entire chemical park.
The thermal power business of CUC covers metallurgy, paper-making, printing, sugar industry, petrochemicals, coal-to-liquid and other fields. CUC can provide customers with customized thermal power plant solutions based on heating parameters, capacity and working conditions in different industries. For example, in metallurgical industry, CUC adopts high-back pressure steam turbines and high-pressure heat source buffer systems to get sub-high temperature and sub-high pressure parameter heating; CUC adopts heat storage system of thermal power plant for industries such as printing and dyeing with uneven load day and night; CUC designs long-distance direct steam supply system and multi-level steam cascade utilization system of high temperature and ultra-high pressure steam in petrochemical industry; CUC designs saturated steam heating and reheating system in the coal-to-liquid industry; CUC designs waste heat utilization technology of exhaust steam heat pump for heating projects in cold area, etc. The completion of these heating projects in various fields marks CUC to overcome the problems of high-parameter, large-capacity, multi-level, and multi-unit coordinated heat supply in complex working conditions in heating devices, and forms the core market competitiveness of CUC in thermal power plants and power center businesses.
