On the morning of July 13, 2023, at 10:08 am, the steel structure lifting of the first boiler (#12) commenced for the Zhejiang Juhua Thermal Power Co., Ltd.’s energy-saving and efficiency-improvement technical transformation project, with China United Engineering Corporation as the lead unit. This project is part of the EPC general contracting for Units #12 and #13, and it marks the official entry into the construction and installation phase.

The project is located within the premises of Zhejiang Juhua Thermal Power Co., Ltd. in Kecheng District, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The construction involves two sets of 280t/h subcritical ultra-high-temperature circulating fluidized bed boilers and two B50 steam turbine generator units. The scheduled completion dates for the two units are mid-July 2024 and mid-September 2024, respectively, when they are planned to start power generation.

To ensure the smooth lifting of the #12 boiler steel structure, the project team formulated detailed lifting plans and safety measures. They conducted systematic training for on-site personnel and provided meticulous safety technical instructions while performing comprehensive risk analysis of the construction site. During the lifting process, the workers strictly adhered to the lifting plan, ensuring the success of the entire lifting operation on the first attempt.
